Anyone and everyone from all the levels must take the ASVAB. There are different score points needed for each level or qualifying occupation and having a higher score for meeting each cut off is important. Many recruiters allow prospective military applicants to attempt this test a few times and use to their score for placement.

About ASVAB

There are four critical areas on the ASVAB: Arithematic reasoning, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension and mathematics knowledge. All of the these sections can be learned through good teaching and practice. The questions on each attempt of the test changes but the type of questions asked remain the same.
