The passing of the GED test provides students with a certification indicating that he or she has cleared the high school level skills in United States and Canada. In United States, passing GED is equivalent to having a high school diploma. In order to pass or clear the GED test, the person must be at least 18 years old and must not be currently enrolled in high school or have graduated high school. You must pass four subtests of GED: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. You can take the test with all four sections at the same time or one at a time.
